Not long ago, Shaboozey was a Virginia kid grinding through every lane country music wouldn’t let him into. Then “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” happened. Nineteen weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, tying Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” for the longest-running chart-topper of all time.
A Grammy. A Beyoncé cosign on Cowboy Carter. Overnight, he wasn’t underground anymore. He was everywhere. Now, with a brand-new album dropping July 31 and a 25-date North American headline tour called the Outlaws Never Die Tour locked in for the fall, 2026 is the year Shaboozey stops being a moment and becomes a movement.
The tour supports his upcoming concept album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, which arrives July 31, 2026. If you’ve been sleeping on him live, this is the run that will make you regret it.
Why This Tour Is Shaboozey’s Biggest Bet Yet
Here’s the thing about Shaboozey’s rise that people forget: the fame was fast, but the work wasn’t. Years of building a sound that didn’t fit any single box, blending country twang with hip-hop grit, finally paid off in 2024 in a way almost no artist gets to experience.
His appearance on Beyoncé’s acclaimed Cowboy Carter album introduced him to an entirely new audience, and his collaboration “Amen” with Jelly Roll won the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, cementing his place among the most exciting artists in any genre.

So when Shaboozey announces a headline tour spanning 25 cities from coast to coast, it’s not just another concert run. It’s the first time millions of fans who discovered him through a streaming algorithm or a TikTok will get to see what he’s actually built. The Outlaws Never Die Tour is his biggest headline run to date. And based on the album it’s built around, he’s swinging for something much bigger than a repeat performance.
The Outlaw Cherie Lee Album Behind the Tour
Before you can understand the tour, you need to understand the album. Because this isn’t a collection of singles. It’s a full cinematic story, song by song, from beginning to bloody end.
The record tells the tale of Cherie Lee, who witnesses the murder of her sheriff father by the Bootcut Boys. Lee then embarks on a revenge quest but falls for one of the outlaws, leading to a final act where she must choose between love and revenge.

Jamie Foxx narrates the album in a fiery new cinematic trailer, which tells you everything you need to know about the scale Shaboozey is operating at now. This isn’t a guy making safe follow-up records.
In his own words, the shift was intentional. Shaboozey described his previous album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going as “a journal entry and an opportunity for the world to get to know more about me as a person.” But with The Outlaw Cherie Lee, he said, “I want to show the world who I am as an artist and storyteller.”
The lead single, “Born to Die,” was released on April 24. Consider that your first taste of what this fall’s shows will feel like.

Support Acts and What the Live Show Will Look Like
Shaboozey didn’t just pick openers. He picked a statement. Special guests across the run include Brittney Spencer, Noeline Hofmann, BigXthaPlug, Kashus Culpepper, Noah Cyrus, Carter Faith, and Angel White, with support varying by date.
That lineup crosses country, rap, and Americana, which is exactly the point. Shaboozey’s whole brand is refusing to stay in one lane, and his supporting cast reflects that. Brittney Spencer is one of the most talked-about voices in country music right now. BigXthaPlug brings a completely different energy. Noah Cyrus has built her own devoted fanbase. This isn’t a tour where you show up late. The openers are part of the experience.

As for the headline set, expect the show to lean into the cinematic world of The Outlaw Cherie Lee. Shaboozey launched an immersive pop-up saloon experience at Stagecoach Festival 2026, running April 24 through 26, featuring album previews and artist appearances, giving fans a preview of the visual storytelling he plans to bring to the live show. If that’s any indication, expect a production that feels less like a concert and more like walking inside the album.
The hits will obviously be there. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” alone will bring the house down in every city. But this tour feels designed to prove that Shaboozey is more than one massive song.
How to Get Tickets Before They Sell Out
The general sale started on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local venue time, with a ticket limit of 4 per purchase. Tickets are live now through Ticketmaster.
There’s one detail worth noting if you’re buying a ticket. Shaboozey has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket goes to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So beyond the show itself, your purchase is going somewhere meaningful.
If tickets in your city are already showing limited availability, verified resale options are available through StubHub and SeatGeek. Popular dates in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles tend to move the fastest for runs like this.
The Greek Theater finale in Los Angeles on October 27 will likely be the most talked-about night of the entire tour. If you’re in Southern California, that’s your show.
Shaboozey spent years being someone industry insiders whispered about. In 2024, the whole world caught up. In the fall of 2026, he’s going to remind every single one of them exactly how he got here.
